Who we are
63 Motors, 178a Portswood Road, Portswood, Southampton SO17 2NJ, looks after anything you send us through this website. To ask about your information, email 63motors.uk@gmail.com or ring 07572 597925.
What we collect
Only what you type in. The booking form, the price guide and the MOT and service reminder on this site don't send anything anywhere by themselves. They write what you type into a message and open it in your own WhatsApp. Nothing is sent to a server and nothing is stored on this website.
Once you press send, we get whatever you chose to send: usually your name, your phone number, your bike and what it needs. We use it to quote, book the bike in, do the work and, if you asked for one, send your reminder. We keep job records and invoices for as long as our tax records need them. Nothing is sold, rented or passed on for marketing.
Who else sees it
WhatsApp (Meta), because that's how your message reaches us, under their own terms. Our phone and email providers. Our accountant, for invoices. Our website host, which stores the pages of this site and never receives your messages. And SH Studios Digital Ltd, who built the site and look after it for us, acting only on our instructions.
Cookies and counting
This site sets no cookies, so there's no cookie banner in your way. It counts visits without cookies: each page view sends the page address, the site that linked you here and whether you're on a phone. Nothing is stored on your device and nothing identifies you. The typefaces load from Google Fonts and the map on the contact page is a Google Maps embed, so Google sees the request your browser makes for them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we don't have to keep it, and object to us using it. Email 63motors.uk@gmail.com and we'll deal with it within a month. If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
